A WORD ON AIRBAGS:
Few vehicle safety issues have presented such widespread distress and concern as the recent recalls of multiple vehicle makes and models due to defective airbags supplied by the Japanese manufacturer Takata. At Rescue Reliance, we share those concerns, and extend our deepest sympathies to those whose lives have been impacted by tragedies related to these airbags.

On the other hand, we recognize the great positive impact that airbag technology has had on crash survivability for millions of people. Our focus is on helping to ensure that airbags continue to play a positive role in all of our lives, by helping rescuers to work safely with airbags and other vehicle safety technologies AFTER a crash has occurred.
